Note that the graphic organizer below will help you to make sure that you include ALL of the pieces of introduction, conclusion, and analytical body paragraphs. This means that you will complete all the requirements for including the structural pieces of an analytical essay.

The graphic organizer offers you a very basic formula, and the goal is to eventually internalize all of these structural pieces and weave them together in a way that [1] suits your personal voice and style of analysis, and [2] suits the evidence and argument you set out to explore in a given essay. To clarify - your essay does NOT need to go in the exact order of the graphic organizer provided below, especially for those of you that are already more fluid writers - but using the graphic organizer below will just help ensure that you've included the basics of an analytical essay in your writing.
